宴トーストマスターズクラブーオンライン例会、エリア31　Utage Toastmasters Club Online Meeting, Area 31

8月最後の31日、夜9時からの宴オンライン例会に参加させていただきました。宴といえばたくさんの素晴らしいスピーカーのいらっしゃるクラブです。これまでにも様々な取組みをされてきましたが、今回はオンラインでした。結果は大成功。楽しい例会となりました。もちろん宴らしく、乾杯に始まり乾杯に終わりました。

On the last day of August, 31st, at 9:00pm, I joined Utage Toastmasters Club Online meeting. Utage is well known with their excellent speakers. So far they have attempted many trials, they challenged Online meeting this time. The outcome was outstanding! It was a very enjoyable meeting. Certainly, as Utage standard, we toasted at the beginning and closing.

宴はパスウェイズのみのコミュニティクラブとして、準備スピーカーが全員パスウェイズのプロジェクトに挑戦されました。

Utage is now a community club only pursuing to Pathways so that all prepared speakers tried their projects in Pathways.

最初の準備スピーカーは、江星さん。焼酎の歴史について詳しく楽しく説明されました。

二人目の準備スピーカーは、丸谷さん。かつてのコンテストスピーチ、「男は黙って？」を1回目はビデオで、そして論評をいただき、さらに続けて2回目のスピーチをオンラインで実施し、さらに論評をいただき、その上で、自分も論評をするという、一日で、レベル１のプロジェクト２を終わらせてしまうという離れ業でした。オンラインでも丁寧なデリバリーでさすがでした。

三人目の準備スピーカーは、原澤さん。原澤さんらしく、きれいなストーリー展開で、興味深いテーマを披露してくださいました。

The first speaker was Eboshi san. He introduced us regarding the history of Shochu with fun and detailed information.

The second speaker was Marutani san. He delivered his famous contest speech entitled "What a man does in silence" in video streaming at first with evaluation and in online delivery at second attempts with evaluation, plus he did evaluation speech in one meeting to complete Level 1 Project 2. His performance was extraordinary. His careful delivery even in online was awesome.

The third prepared speaker was Harasawa san. As his nature, the story was beautiful and focused on an interesting topic.

スピーチの論評は、江星さんに飯吉さん、丸谷さん２つをいずれも東さん、原澤さんに丸谷さんでした。総合論評は伊東さんが担当され、かつ、ゲストの2人にも、オンライン会議全体の論評を、という面白い試みでした。

The evaluators were Iiyoshi san for Eboshi san, Azuma san for both Marutani san's speeches and Marutani san for Harasawa san. General evaluator was Ito san and he asked both guests for overall online meeting evaluation, which was interesting.

司会の金野さんは、オンラインでもカーテンにバナーを設置し、例会を最高に盛り上げられました。

TMOE Konno san entertained all by placing the club banner hanging on the curtain in her room.

例会は大成功のうちに終わり、オフラインのよさとオンラインのよさをそれぞれ確認できるという収穫があったような気がします。これからも宴トーストマスターズクラブはますます盛り上がりそうですね!

The meeting closed in successful manner and we could recognize the good points of both online and offline. Utage Toastmasters club will evolve more and more onwards.
